What is it about?

We are looking for a DigITal Contract Manager to join the Strategic Vendor Management team, reporting directly to the Strategic Vendor Management’s Manager.

A DigITal Contract Manager is responsible for overseeing existing contracts and/or supporting future renewal processes. This role will regularly coordinate with internal stakeholders and their peers in the suppliers’ organizations. She/He has to enforce all the critical contract clauses in the interest of the company and must ensure that new contracts will support the company’s business needs and comply with company's main compliance rules. 


She/He will be instrumental in:

  • guaranteeing the contract provisions will be respected by the suppliers
  • guaranteeing that contract costs are aligned with what was agreed upon
  • set and drive the key governance processes
  • monitoring KPIs & SLAs with the Service Manager and translating these into penalties if needed
  • monitoring the deliverables to ensure they are both aligned in quality and timing with the plan
  • managing cost deviations with the foreseen escalation path
  • envisaging and managing risks


As DigITal Contract Manager, your Responsibilities will be:

  • Developing the processes to manage the contract
  • Monitor the execution of complex contracts throughout the contract term
  • Enforcing the critical clauses of the contract
  • Provide monthly control of cost versus budget and contract price list/bill of materials
  • Analyze and escalate potential divergences from the technical and commercial contract provisions
  • Discipline contract spend, both within and outside of contract scope
  • Monitor new delivery milestones and deliverable quality
  • Convey and manage escalations
  • Monitor KPIs & SLAs with the Service Manager and translate these into credits or penalties if needed
  • Coordinate and address the agenda of several governance committees
  • Manage and run benchmarks to evaluate contract performance
  • Mitigate risk by ensuring that contract terms and conditions are fair, enforceable, and legally compliant
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company's business objectives and align contract strategies with those goals
  • Advise and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, sales, and operations, to ensure contractual alignment with business strategy and operational requirements
  • Develop and implement contract management tools, processes, and best practices to monitor and report on contract performance and compliance
  • Act as the primary point of contact for major contractual matters and build solid relationships with external parties

Who are we looking for?

  • 5 years’ experience in equivalent roles and similar international and structured environment 
  • Fact-oriented with an analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities 
  • Competence and experience in cost control or cost transformation projects and activities 
  • Understanding of digital and/or outsourcing technologies and processes 
  • Strong financial acumen to understand the implications of various contract terms 
  • Negotiation and interpersonal communication skills 
  • MS office tools 
  • Fluent English level (both written and spoken) 
  • GenAI user experience 
  • Contract management skills 
  • Service Management skills
